Vote For Sarah Sabino

Sarah Sabino is a current student of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. As of last semester she will be enjoying the rest of her time at MassArt as a painting major. I have had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and befriending her, but she is so talented and has so many things in store for her. I wish her the best especially when she becomes famous!

Sabino is currently participating in the Future Soles Competition  in the college division. Be supportive and go vote for and amazing designer!

Paul Goodnight

I have never been so grateful as to have met someone through working at an art supply store. I met Paul Goodnight a few years ago while I was working and everytime he came in I would have a small conversation with him. Eventually he seen my work. I remember everytime I spoke with him, he left with wise words. Without knowing it, Paul was and continues to be an amazing artist and mentor! Thank Paul Goodnight!

All I know is that I love how this comes out. I can't share my secret just yet but I can tell you playing with your materials will always get you far!

A New Material

I have always enjoyed finding a new material to work with. I enjoy new advances with the acrylic medium. In the past few years Liquitex and Golden Paint have both reinvented and invented new acrylic mediums. The great thing about them, is that there are so many possibilities with adding other things to them.

I didn't know I wanted to be a painter

I had invested a lot of my time into understanding how the gallery works and that caught my attention. I really thought I was going to spend the rest of my life developing a career in curation, but things have changed. I have come to realize a much wider view of the possibilities that life has for me. I enjoy being creative, and adapting life through the eyes of a visual outlet. One of my teacher's said once "Paint does something that no other meduim does." He never really explained what he meant by that, but I took that as an invitation to figuring it all out. I thank everyone that has been supportive of what I do, you could imagine how much you have influenced me. So thank you.
